At no other time in history have marketers had such a great opportunity to connect directly with their customers while simultaneously adding value to their organizations' sales pipeline and revenue. We, at Curata, have been fortunate to be a part of the growth of this movement since 2007; enabling hundreds of companies to create and curate quality content.

Helping companies use content to drive growth is our passion.

However, there are two primary hurdles that marketers must overcome to advance to the next stage of content marketing maturity and impact:

1. Ability to Scale

. . . Creating quality content each and every day. It requires strategy, subject matter expertise, writing talent, digital marketing and promotions mastery and operations proficiency. Bringing all of these competencies together, even in the smallest of companies, is no easy feat.

2. Content Marketing Insight

And without the data or intelligence regarding what content works and doesn't work, continuous improvement and mastery of content marketing remains an art for the few versus a science for the many.

Pawan Deshpande

Founder & CEO

Pawan is an accomplished entrepreneur, marketer and technologist. He was a finalist for the 2014 MarketingProfs B2B Marketer of the Year, and named in Boston Business Journal's 40 under 40. Pawan previously worked at Google, Microsoft and other startups and holds an S.B. and M.Eng. in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Michael Gerard

Michael is responsible for Curata's marketing strategy and all related activities. Prior to Curata, Michael was the co-founder of IDC's CMO and Sales Advisory Practices. Michael received his MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, as well as a BS in Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MS in Engineering from Northeastern University.

Randy Bernard

Randy Bernard

Director of Sales

Randy oversees the entire sales engine. Having spent two decades selling and building teams, his passion for sales continues to ensure a consistent and predictable growth in our customer base with many of the most well known Brands from around the world. Randy is the co-author of the best selling sales book, The Pocket Guide For Sales Survival which is used by sales managers and salespeople around the world.

Craig Blum

Director of Client Services

Craig and his team make customers happy and successful. Craig joined Curata from Viximo, where he managed the company's partner network. Prior to that, he performed a client services role at Matchmine and held key engineering positions at Constant Contact and edocs. Craig earned his B.S. in Management Science and Information Technology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and his MBA from Babson College.

Jeff Suarez

Jeff Suarez

VP of Engineering

Jeff runs Curata's engineering team. Before joining Curata, Jeff co-founded Financial Diligence Networks, an online platform used by hundreds of hedge funds and their investors to connect and share information securely. Prior to that, he was the Global Director of Digital Products at Vistaprint. He received a BS in Computer Science from the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.

Gururaj "Desh" Deshpande

Gururaj "Desh" Deshpande

Gururaj is the President and Chairman of Sparta Group LLC. Dr. Deshpande has founded several successful companies including Cascade Communications and Sycamore Networks. Dr. Deshpande holds a B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology - Madras, an M.E. from the University of New Brunswick in Canada, and Ph.D from Queens University in Canada. Dr. Deshpande serves as a life-member of the MIT Corporation.

Eric Swanson

Eric Swanson

Eric is an entrepreneur, a director and advisor to several firms, a research associate at MIT, and consultant at Draper Laboratories. Mr. Swanson has authored more than 180 technical papers and holds over 25 US patents and numerous foreign patents. Mr. Swanson holds a B.S. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an M.S. from MIT both in electrical engineering.

He is the author of the Amazon #1 Best Seller Welcome to the Funnel. Previously he was the senior manager of social media strategy at Marketo and responsible for leading the company's global content and social media efforts. Jason is a frequent contributor to top marketing blogs such as Content Marketing Institute, Social Media Examiner, Marketing Profs, Copyblogger, and has presented at numerous industry conferences including Dreamforce, Content Marketing World, Social Media Marketing World , Social Fresh, Microsoft Convergence, Inbound, and more.
