Business Blogging Basics: A 7-Step Workout Plan [Infographic]

Is your blog in need of a transformation?

We recently surveyed 400+ business bloggers and identified one group of respondents — those who run blogs with 10,000 or more page views a month — and deemed them the “10K Blogging Club.”

This group not only has high traffic, but they also reap many more benefits such as high referral rates from their blog to their corporate website and higher impact of their blog activities on marketing and sales’ pipeline.

If you’d like to make into the 10K Club, you’ll have to put in a little work. That’s why we customized a workout plan that will get your blog into shape in no time.

Nice infographic, and great tips! How much of blogging success is related to SEO? This article emphasizes SEO a lot (http://hubs.ly/y0B1hm0), which could play a role in helping you develop your blog.

Thanks Hunter. Yup, no doubt that SEO plays a role in a successful blogging strategy; that is, as long as your primary goal remains creating and curating high quality content for your audience. • It all sounds so easy, but the reality is way harder.

My contribution to the millions of posts thrown into the ether every day has been going for 1400 + posts several times a week, focusing on the SME niche, (although I do indulge my hobby horses from time to time, it is after all, MY blog) and doing most of the above apart from outsourcing and some of the post marketing strategies, and 1,000 page views a month is a very good month.

I do it because the thinking & articulation of those thought s makes me smarter, and a better consultant. http://www.strategyaudit.com.au/

  • What a lovely infographic, Michael! I would only advise everyone to be careful with outsourcing content writing as it’s always better to be written by a specialist in a particular spehere. Otherwise, if hiring a freelancer is a preferred way, it’s a must to state your requirements as precisely as possible, or, what’s even better – to make a plan of an article with what should be disclosed in each paragraph as well as what keywords should be used.
