Tapjoy Chief Architect Chris Chiodo Joins Curata Advisory Board
Content marketing software startup Curata is delighted to welcome software architect Chris Chiodo to its advisory board, alongside former Hubspot CRO Mark Roberge, Wordstream founder and CTO Larry Kim, and LinkedIn Global Content Marketing Leader Jason Miller.
"I'm super excited to join the advisory board at Curata," said Chiodo. "Curata is in a unique position to bring content intelligence and automation to a market where there's a huge opportunity for software to help marketers get orders of magnitude better at their jobs. Given the outstanding team in place, I leapt at the chance to be involved in creating the future of content marketing technology."
Chiodo was most recently Chief Architect at Tapjoy, a mobile advertising and app monetization platform with over one billion app installs. Tapjoy allows mobile app users to select in-app advertising in exchange for virtual rewards and premium content. Chiodo brings years of experience with scaling engineering and architecture from his time working at Software as a Service (SaaS) companies Hyp, Viximo, InnerWireless, PanGo Networks, BEA Systems, and Cisco Systems.
Curata offers two software platforms for content marketers to increase leads and revenue. Curata Content Curation Software (CCS) helps marketers find, organize, and easily publish the most relevant content on the web, and Curata Content Marketing Platform (CMP) enables marketers to plan, manage, and measure content's impact throughout the marketing and sales funnel—all the way to the exact revenue generated by a single piece of content.
Curata is making significant investments in content intelligence in order to make content marketing data more useful and predictive. Curata's products process millions of records per day from marketing automation programs, social channels, web analytics, salesforce automation/CRM systems and the open web through a rich machine learning and natural language processing pipeline. These big data demands, combined with Curata's fast growing customer base, mean Chiodo's expertise in scaling engineering and engineering systems comes at a strategic inflection point for the company.
"Chris brings a wealth of knowledge from his time as Chief Architect at some of the best technology companies in Boston," said Jeff Suarez, Vice President of Engineering at Curata. "His experience designing and developing data processing architecture at massive scale will be critical to our success building truly disruptive products for our customers. We are thrilled to add him to our advisory board."
