New HiveFire E-book Provides Evidence that Content Curation Drives Results

Cambridge, Mass. – October 18, 2011 – HiveFire, Inc., an online content marketing technology company, today made its new e-book, The Open and Shut Case for Content Curation, available to the public for free download. The e-book includes a detailed overview of how content curation—the process of finding, organizing and sharing online content—supports marketing objectives and drives business results.

Early in October, HiveFire released findings from its B2B Marketing Trends 2011 Survey, which found more than half of B2B marketers (56 percent) now implement content curation programs—up nearly 15 percent from just six months earlier. Even as the value of content marketing and curation programs continue to become widely accepted and the technologies to implement them are commonly adopted, some wonder if leveraging third-party content will be effective for their organizations. This e-book provides a compilation of facts that puts an end to any debate and proves content curation marketing works.

Each brief chapter coaches marketers on a different benefit of content curation, including supporting SEO, generating and nurturing leads, and reducing costs. The e-book also features content curators discussing the value their content curation programs have delivered, as well as experts who address the future of the industry.

“Content curation is a bona-fide game changer,” said Pawan Deshpande, CEO of HiveFire. “But some people need proof before bringing it into their own organizations, so we’ve provided that in this e-book. It is part of our commitment to helping companies leverage content curation and take advantage of the many benefits it has to offer.”

The Open and Shut Case for Content Curation is the third in a series of e-books developed by HiveFire to educate the market on content curation benefits and best practices. Taming the Flood of Online Content and 5 Simple Steps to Becoming a Content Curation Rockstar, along with the latest e-book, are all available for download at
